Weddings
Weddings are a celebration of life, so photographing them is a perfect fit for me, because celebrating life is absolutely my favorite thing to do. It’s what I try to do every day and in all things. Life just zooms by, but by taking photographs, you can slow that down just a bit, and reflect on the beauty that makes up the tapestry of your life.
I have personally photographed over 1400 weddings and I enjoy it now more than ever before. It is truly an honor to be invited into the happiest day in the lives of the bride and groom, bride and bride, or groom and groom to capture the joy, love, and the happy chaos that define such a special celebration. At your wedding, I’m the photographer of course but I’m also a person who is dedicated in making sure that you have an amazing day. And that is simply because I’m honored to be there; I love people, and I love classic moments. The biggest compliment I receive at a wedding is when guests are surprised to find out that I’m the hired photographer. They then tell me that they just assumed by how I was interacting with people that I must either be a friend of the family or a part of the family. And thank goodness, that’s exactly what I feel like! And that’s the reason that I still love what I do after all these years.

Photography is my passion. It is of course also a business, but first and foremost to me it is very personal. So much so that it is very important to me to be open and honest with everyone that I work with.
I think I am under priced for a photographer with my skill and experience (if I do say so myself!), and that is on purpose. I hate advertising and selling myself. I LOVE taking pictures though. My philosophy is that if I keep my pricing very reasonable and go above and beyond the call of duty at every wedding, my business will flourish simply by word of mouth. And luckily it’s worked that way now for 30 years and counting. For summer weddings my pricing regularly starts around $2900, but I am having a Spring 2024 special where coverages will start $1000 off of that at $1900. In addition special discounted coverages are occasionally offered depending upon availability. I try to come up with custom quotes that I feel will best fit your unique personal preferences. I’d be happy to work up some custom photography coverage options for you if you let me know when and where your wedding is going to be, approximately how many people are going to be involved (wedding party/family/guests) and overall time frame that you think you would like photography for. Also helpful to know would be any specific photo preferences, such as print or album needs, and even your hoped for photography budget. Any information would help me work up some coverages for you to consider. Chatting at least briefly by phone is highly recommended. I think even in a short phone call you will be able to see if I would be a good fit for your wedding (plus I can talk way faster than I can type!).
